helppilot-mcp
Local MCP server that lets Claude Desktop talk to your HelpPilot tenant on pilot.helpvisor.gr.
This is a thin client. All business logic, skills, and credentials stay server-side — this binary just forwards tool calls and prompts over HTTPS, gated by your HelpPilot license JWT.
Install
The easiest path is to download the prebuilt single-file executable for your OS from the Releases page. No Python required.
| OS | Download |
|---|---|
| Windows | helppilot-mcp-windows-x64.exe |
| macOS (Apple Silicon) | helppilot-mcp-macos-arm64 |
| Linux (x64) | helppilot-mcp-linux-x64 |
Or install from source:
pip install git+https://github.com/helpvisor/helppilot-mcp.git
Configure
Create a config file with your HelpPilot license JWT:
Windows — %APPDATA%\helppilot\config.json
macOS / Linux — ~/.config/helppilot/config.json
{
"api_url": "https://pilot.helpvisor.gr",
"license_jwt": "<paste from the 'Claude Desktop' page at pilot.helpvisor.gr>"
}
Get the JWT by logging in at pilot.helpvisor.gr and clicking Claude Desktop → setup & download. The setup page generates a ready-to-paste config and a snippet for Claude Desktop.
Wire into Claude Desktop
Edit claude_desktop_config.json (Settings → Developer → Edit Config in Claude Desktop):
{
"mcpServers": {
"helppilot": {
"command": "C:\\HelpPilot\\helppilot-mcp.exe"
}
}
}
Adjust the path to wherever you put the executable. Restart Claude Desktop. The HelpPilot tools (SoftOne, Drive, bank reconciliation, history) appear in the MCP menu, and the workflow skills are available as prompts.
Build
pip install pyinstaller mcp httpx
pyinstaller mcp_client/helppilot-mcp.spec --noconfirm
Output: dist/helppilot-mcp(.exe).
Tests
pip install pytest httpx
pytest tests/
